Welcome to the Kuusamo Nature Photo Festival!
An immersive nature photography experience awaits in September in Kuusamo, where nature photography, culture, and stunning scenery come together. Inspired by the legendary Hannu Hautala since 1995, the event has brought together both enthusiasts and professionals.
The festival program offers intriguing talks, presentations, exhibitions, music, and workshops. The event spans across Kuusamotalo, Ruka, the Hannu Hautala Nature Photography Centre, and stunning natural locations. The highlight of Saturday is the cultural sauna, providing a place for relaxation and sharing thoughts, not forgetting a dip in the lake.
The festival will feature performances by Britta Jaschinski, Erik Malm, Felix Heintzenberg, Ilkka Halso, Juha Suonpää, Kerttu Kotakorpi, as well as Sanni Seppo and Ritva Kovalainen. More performers and program details will be announced during the spring of 2024, so stay tuned!
