Category Change Instagram REELS

This category is open during 20 May–18 August 2023.

Participants can enter the series through the Instagram app.

Everyone over the age of 18 is eligible to take part in the competition.

Participating in this category does not prevent you from taking part in other categories of Kuusamo Nature Photo Competition.

In this category, prizes will be awarded to the best 3 (three) videos. The winner is selected by a jury comprised of a representative of the personnel of Fotonordic and the jury chair of Kuusamo Nature Photo competition. The jury will make its decision after the competition period has ended. The winner will be notified via Instagram direct messages. If the winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days of the first contact, a new winner will be selected.

The winner will be awarded a €350 gift card to Fotonordic online shop. The second-place contestant will be awarded with a €50 gift card, and the third-place awardee will receive a €25 gift card for Fotonordic’s online store. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.

The organiser of the competition is not responsible for possible technical reasons for mistakes in the drawing of prizes, or for any discovered wrongdoings. The organiser of the competition is not liable for any damage caused or alleged to have been caused, directly or indirectly, by the participation in the competition, receiving the prize, or the use of the prize.

The participant is responsible for having the legal right to use and share the videos/images he/she enters to the competition, and for having the consent of all persons who may appear in the videos/images to take part in the competition.

The participant is also responsible for the appropriateness of the content of the submitted videos/images.

The photographer retains full image rights to the competition video.

The organiser of the competition has the right to publish the awarded participants’  names or nicknames in the communication and marketing channels of the organiser’s choice. In addition, the organiser has the right to share the videos/images of the participants on the organiser’s channels in connection with the marketing of the competition. However, in such case, the photographer’s information must remain with the video/image.

The organiser reserves the right to change the competition period for a justified reason. If the competition is prematurely terminated, the prize will be drawn among all participants who have submitted their entries by the date of the termination.

The organiser is not responsible for entries that have failed to be submitted due to technical reasons. The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any individual who violates the rules of this competition, or who the organiser suspects of having used dishonest means in taking part in this competition, or who has violated the terms of use of Instagram.

By participating in the competition, the participant accepts the rules of the competition and the decisions of the organiser of the competition. The organiser reserves the right to all changes concerning the competition.

The organisers of the competition will not collect the participants’ contact information, nicknames, or other information, and they will not be used for direct marketing.

The participants’ information will only be used for the implementation of the competition, and the winner’s contact information will only be used for delivering the prize.

Participating in this category does not prevent you from taking part in other categories of Kuusamo Nature Photo Competition.
